BMS outstations are essentially an expansion of your existing building management system. They house control points that report back to the buildings primary management controller or form part of a controller network on larger sites.
The use of BMS outstations can produce huge savings in installation costs. It allows a vast amount of information to be transferred across a network using a single cable, rather than having multiple wiring systems running back to a single control panel.
BMS outstations are also used to display system information at various points around the building (i.e. the roof, basement or reception) via indicator lights or remote HMI’s.
We can supply custom built BMS outstations to suit all the major BMS systems including Niagara / Trend and Siemens, or alternatively, on an open protocol such as Bacnet or Modbus IP.
